Fisher College unveils 2011 Season for Women’s Soccer
Boston, MA – New Head Coach Bill Maddock has announced the 2011 schedule for the Women’s soccer program.  The Falcons will compete in the American Mid-East Conference for the first time this season after previously competing in the Sunrise Conference.   Led by returning four year starter Katie Ernest (Blackstone, MA) and a strong incoming class the Fisher Falcons play seven of the first eight games against American Mid-East opponents. 
The Fisher Falcons open the season at home against AMC foe Daemen College of September 10th before traveling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a two game set with Carlow University, September 12th and 13th.
The Falcons finished the 2010 season with a 0-11 record.   Under the direction of new Head Coach Bill Maddock, Fisher looks to continue the development of the Women’s soccer program.  “I am excited to see where this program can go,” said Coach Maddock, “the new conference will open up new opportunities and hopefully we will see a quick turnaround in the success of the program.” 
After returning from the trip to Pittsburgh, PA the Fisher Falcons will play non-conference opponent University of Maine – Augusta on September 21st  before four straight conference games against Walsh University, September 23rd, Point Park University, September 24th and 25th, and Houghton College on October 1st.
After playing five of their first seven contests on the road, the Fisher Falcons will have six of their next seven games at home.  The Falcons will finish their American Mid-East Conference schedule as well as their regular season schedule with a trip to upstate New York where they will play Houghton College on October 28th and Daemen College on October 29th.

Women's Soccer Coaching Staff
Coach Bill Maddock is entering his first season as Head Coach for Men's and Women's soccer. Maddock was a member of the Fisher College Baseball coaching staff in 2010-2011 and will continue in this role in conjunction with his head coaching position with the Falcons.

A 2009 graduate of Newbury College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, Bill was a three year starter in baseball and soccer for the Nighthawks.  At Newbury, Maddock captained both teams his senior year and was the first athlete in conference or school history to earn 1st Team All New England Collegiate Conference Honors in two different sports.

A 2005 graduate of Marshfield High School in Marshfield, MA, Maddock was a three sport varsity starter, earning all Atlantic Coast League honors in soccer as a senior, and Patriot Ledger All Scholastic in baseball. Prior to MHS, Maddock attended the American School in London, England where he was a two year varsity starter in three sports and captained the basketball team as a sophomore.

A native of Marshfield, MA, Maddock earned a Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Endicott College in May 2011 and is also the Sports Information Director at Fisher College.
