Fisher Men beat Fitchburg State, 97-77

Pursell leads Fisher to another win by beating Fitchburg State, 97-77

Roxbury, MA - Junior Casey Pursell (Seattle, WA) made 10 of 15 shots as Fisher College improves to 8-1 with a 97-77 victory over Fitchburg State College. Purcell, who also made 3 three point attempts, finished the game with 24 points and 7 rebounds, both team highs. The other half of the "Seattle Connection", junior Christaan Hammond (Seattle, WA) chipped in with 17 points on the night. Also contributing with double digit points were freshman Jasmin Handanovic (Milford, NH), 16 points, and senior Ryan Henry (Westwood, NJ), 10 points. Senior Juan Inoa (Methuen, MA) saw some action tonight and recorded 2 points and a rebound.

The Fisher Men's Basketball team will head off to the Harold J. Brodie Tournament this weekend. The tournament is being held at Rochester (NY) Institute of Technology.
