2011 Season Schedule announced for Fisher College Men’s Soccer

Boston, MA - The Fisher College Men’s soccer program 2011 schedule has been announced by Head Coach Bill Maddock.  With First year Head Coach Bill Maddock at the helm, the Falcons look to surprise in the American Mid-East Conference.  The Falcons will be joining the American Mid-East Conference after competing in the former Sunrise Conference.


“The 2011 season will allow me to set the building blocks for the soccer program here at Fisher,” said new Head Coach Bill Maddock, “ I am looking forward to developing this young program into one of the most competitive teams in the Northeast.”  The Falcons finished the 2010 season 0-12 with a conference record or 0-11.


The Falcons begin the regular season September 16th when AMC opponent Roberts Wesleyan College comes to Boston.  After a two game set with the Raiders, the Fisher Falcons will have five straight road contests against AMC rivals Walsh University, Point Park University and non-conference opponents Briarcliff College and Newbury College.


The Falcons will finish their American Mid-East Conference schedule as well as their regular season schedule with a trip to upstate New York where they will play Houghton College on October 28th and Daemen College on October 29th.

Men's Soccer Coaching Staff 

Coach Bill Maddock is entering his first season as Head Coach for Men's and Women's soccer. Maddock was a member of the Fisher College Baseball coaching staff in 2010-2011 and will continue in this role in conjunction with his head coaching position with the Falcons.

A 2009 graduate of Newbury College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, Bill was a three year starter in baseball and soccer for the Nighthawks.  At Newbury, Maddock captained both teams his senior year and was the first athlete in conference or school history to earn 1st Team All New England Collegiate Conference Honors in two different sports.

A 2005 graduate of Marshfield High School in Marshfield, MA, Maddock was a three sport varsity starter, earning all Atlantic Coast League honors in soccer as a senior, and Patriot Ledger All Scholastic in baseball. Prior to MHS, Maddock attended the American School in London, England where he was a two year varsity starter in three sports and captained the basketball team as a sophomore.

A native of Marshfield, MA, Maddock earned a Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Endicott College in May 2011 and is also the Sports Information Director at Fisher College.
