Boston, MACourtney Parker (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union H.S.) will continue her outstanding soccer career at Fisher College. The senior sweeper signed her letter of intent to join the growing Lady Falcons Soccer program in Boston, Ma.

Parker is a three year varsity defenseman for Bellows Falls Union H.S. under Coach John Broadley. In her senior year, she was named All Marble Valley League and also served as a captain for the Terriers. She started all 14 games in the fall of 2010, playing every minute while directing the defense for BFUHS.

“Courtney’s ability to play across the defensive line is a tremendous asset for us.” said Fisher College Head Coach Anthony Perry, who will be entering his second year at the helm in 2011. “I believe that she will help this program grow to the next level based not only on her talent, but with her work ethic and dedication.”

Fisher College is a small college located on Beacon Street in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1903 and began their Department of Athletics in 2001. Seven years later, Fisher added Soccer as a varsity sport. Fisher College is a proud member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

“I choose Fisher because I fell in love with it.” said Parker when asked about her decision. “I felt like I fit in perfectly and the soccer was even more of a bonus. I love Soccer and was hoping to continue after High School. It’s a great school and full of so many opportunities. I am excited to be a part of it in the fall.”

Parker is the daughter of Richard and Brina. She will wear #15 for the Lady Falcons next fall while majoring in Psychology at Fisher College.
