Fisher Fantasy at Fenway

Boston, MA - It has been announced today that Fisher College Director of Athletics/Head Baseball Coach Scott Dulin and former Fisher College Baseball player, and current Fisher College Sports Information Director/Head Soccer Coach, Anthony Perry have been selected to play on the 98.5 Sports Hub's Baseball Team this Saturday morning (August 7th) at Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox.

The game will be featuring a team representing 98.5 The Sports Hub versus a team representing another local radio station, Mix 104.1. The game will be an hour long with all the participants names being displayed on the scoreboard in center field along with being announced over the Public Address system. 

Fisher College Head Baseball Coach Scott Dulin

Dulin has been a the helm of the Baseball program since the inception of the Athletic Department in 2001. He played collegiate baseball at the University of Maine at Farmington where he was a four year starter and was also the captain of the Beavers in his junior and senior seasons. As a coach, Dulin has been named the Sunrise Conference Coach of the Year (six times), NAIA Region X Coach of the Year (five times) and was the 2007 recipient of the NAIA Coach of Character Award.

Anthony Perry '08

Perry was a four year starter for the Falcons from 2005-2008. In his Fisher career, he appeared in 171 games collecting 167 hits - good enough for a .355 average. He scored 169 runs and stole 69 bases, both school career records. Perry became the only Fisher student-athlete to sign a professional contract as he signed with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the independent Atlantic League back on June 3, 2008. In his short two year stint with the Blue Crabs, Perry appeared in over 30 games and was a part of the 2009 team to reach the Atlantic League Championship Series.

The game at Fenway Park will start at approximately 8 am and end around 9 am. Admission to the game is free of charge as long as you sign up through the Fisher College Facebook page or email Director of Communication and Special Projects Jennie Moore at jmoore@fisher.edu. .
