Canton, NY - It was announced this afternoon by the Sunrise Conference that Fisher College junior Reynaldo Nunez received the Co-Player of the Week Award and Fisher College senior Sammy Luciano was named the Pitcher of the Week Award winner.

The Santiago, Dominican Republic native, Nunez was dominate in helping the Falcons to a 2-1 week. Nunez hit .400 as the primary designated hitter and also drove in seven runs. He collected six RBI's in a 17-1 win over Siena Heights University, including a grand slam. In the second win, Nunez went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI's as Fisher completed the double-header sweep, this time by a final of 10-2. This is the first time that Nunez has received the award.
Luciano, the Sunrise Conference Pitcher of the Week, is now 3-1 on the season
Luciano made one start last week and pitched 5.0 innings of four hit ball as he only allowed Siena Heights to score once in the 17-1 win. A native of Union City, New Jersey, Luciano has won three straight starts. This is Luciano's first time receiving the Pitcher of the Week Award.
