Senior Josh Franco (Bedford, NH) knocked in a deflection at 35:38 to give Fisher College its first goal but it was not enough as Vermont Tech netted four goals in each half to win 8-1.

The goal scoring play was set up with a free kick outside the eighteen. Freshman Ryan Willetts (Troy, NY) took the kick, which deflected off of the wall set up by Vermont Tech and went to senior Kevin Michael (Ipswich, MA). Michael's shot was stopped by VTC goaltender Justin Gay but Franco was there to put away the rebound for his first goal of 2010.

The Fisher College Men's Soccer team will return to action next weekend when they host the #6 ranked University of Maine at Fort Kent. Game time is set for 11am on the turf at Lawrence Stadium.
