Junior Mike Oliveira (Tewksbury, MA) went a perfect 3-for-3 while senior Alfredo Torres (Lawrence, MA) added a 3-for-4 game as Fisher cruised to their tenth win of the season by beating SUNY-Canton 11-0.

Game Two: Fisher College 5, State University of New York-Canton 4

Juan Eusebio went 3-for-4 in game two

Junior Reynaldo Nunez (Santiago, Dominican Republic) had a clutch pinch hit RBI and senior Rob Mondello (Haverhill, MA) came out of the bullpen and closed the door as Fisher went on win 5-4.

Down 3-1 heading into the bottom of the fourth, Fisher put up a quick four spot to take the lead. Sophomore Gary Lunetta (North Andover, MA) got things started as he walked to begin the inning. Junior Jose Rodriguez (Clermont, FL) laced a double down the right field line and Lunetta scored all the way from first to trim the deficit to one. Rodriguez would come around to score the tying on senior Juan Eusebio's (Union City, NJ) base hit to center. Senior Edwin Pena (Union City, NJ) would plate Eusebio with the go-ahead run on a fielder's choice to the third basemen. With two away, Nunez knocked in Pena for the fifth Fisher run of the game.

That would be all that Fisher needed as freshman Mike Callahan (Chepachet, RI) pitched 5.0 innings, allowing four runs on six hits. Mondello came on in relief and pitched two scoreless innings to record his second save of the season.

Eusebio enjoyed a career day as he went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI as he helped Fisher improve its record to 10-13. These two teams will play another double-header tomorrow. Game time is set for 12 pm at Fraser Field in Lynn, MA.
