Scott Dulin - Director of Athletics and Head Baseball Coach (10th season)
Head Coach Scott Dulin is entering his tenth year at Fisher College
as the Director of Athletics and Head Baseball Coach. Dulin has been at
the helm of the Fisher College Department of Athletics since its
inception in 2001. For the past six seasons (2004-2009), Dulin has been
named the Sunrise Conference Baseball Coach of the Year. Additionally,
he has been named the NAIA Region X Baseball Coach of the Year for five
consecutive seasons (2004-2008), and was named the 2007 recipient of the
NAIA Region X Coach of Character Award. In 2004 and 2005, Dulin was
named the Sunrise Conference Athletic Director of the Year, and was
inducted into the 2005 Fisher College Hall of Fame class.
Coach Dulin
has coached numerous All Conference and All Region Players, three
Rookies of the Year, two Players of the Year, and has seen one of his
players receive a professional contract. During the 2008 season, Coach
Dulin reached 200 career wins. Before beginning the Baseball program at
Fisher College, Dulin was the head coach at Massachusetts College of
Pharmacy for two years.
Prior to that, he was an assistant coach at his
alma matta University of Maine at Farmington. Coach Dulin holds a
Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UMF, where he was a 4 year
starter in the infield and a two time captain. In 2004, Coach Dulin
served as a Major League Baseball Envoy to Costa Rica.
Coach Dulin also
holds the position of President for the Sunrise Conference.
Andrea Hayes - Assistant Athletic Director and Head Softball Coach (6th season)
Andrea L. Hayes enters her fifth season as the Assistant Athletic
Director and Head Softball Coach at Fisher College. She is looking
forward to a very exciting 2012 season after finishing the 2011 season
with a 6-28 record.
Hayes came to Fisher after coaching the Post 4 Legion in Haverhill.
Before coaching in Haverhill, Coach Hayes attended the University of
Massachusetts at Lowell, where she studied International Finance. Prior
to UMass-Lowell, Hayes was at Reading Memorial High School, where she
was the starting catcher for the 18 and under ASA team, the Outlaws. During the summer months,
Hayes coaches for the New England Hurricanes an ASA tournament team based out of Salem, NH. Andrea received a Bachelor of Science in Management from Fisher
College in 2011 and currently resides in Bradford, Massachusetts.
David Lindberg - Head Basketball Coach (6th season)
David Lindberg is entering his sixth full season as the Head Men’s
Basketball Coach at Fisher College. As a coach, he has worked to
establish a defense-based system built around "character" players. Since
arriving at Fisher College, Lindberg has guided the Falcons to four
Sunrise Conference Championships, as well as back-to-back trips to the
NAIA National Tournament. Lindberg began his college coaching career as
an Assistant Coach at Fisher College before taking over the program
halfway through the 2005-06 campaign.
During his five plus years at the helm, he has led the Falcons to an
overall record of 98-76 (.576). Lindberg has had the opportunity to
coach three Sunrise Conference Most Valuable Players, eight First Team
Sunrise Conference players, one Second Team Sunrise Conference player,
one NAIA Academic All-American, as well as one Sunrise Conference Rookie
of the year.
Prior to coming to Fisher, Lindberg was a Media Relations intern with
the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. While in San Antonio, Lindberg also
had the opportunity to coach in the Spurs Drug-Free Basketball League, a
youth program for inner city teenagers. In the off season Coach
Lindberg has had the opportunity to speak at Basketball Clinics
throughout the northeast and his teams have taken part in the Nike
Championship Basketball Clinics as on the floor demonstrators.
Lindberg led the Falcons to back-to-back 20 win seasons (22 in
2008-09 and 25 in 2009-10), the only two in the programs history. During
the 2009-10 campaign the Falcons strung together a nation best 20 game
winning streak.
A native of Ellsworth, Maine, Lindberg has been around the game all
of his life. His father, Bruce Lindberg, was a 4-time Maine State Coach
of the Year. After a post-graduate year at New Hampton Prep, Lindberg
attended Norwich University where he was a member of the basketball
team. Lindberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a
minor in English Literature from Colby-Sawyer College. He earned a
Masters of Education in Athletic Administration from Endicott College in
May of 2011. Coach Lindberg also serves as the Senior Assistant
Director of Admissions and resides in Lynn, Massachusetts with his wife
Tina.
Bill Maddock - Sports Information Director and Head Men's & Women's Soccer Coach (1st Season)
Coach Maddock is entering his first season as Head Coach for Men's
and Women's soccer. Maddock was a member of the Fisher College Baseball
coaching staff in 2010-2011 and will continue in this role in
conjunction with his head coaching position with the Falcons.
A
2009 graduate of Newbury College where he earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Sports Management, Bill was a three year starter in baseball
and soccer for the Nighthawks. At Newbury, Maddock captained both teams
his senior year and was the first athlete in conference or school
history to earn 1st Team All New England Collegiate Conference Honors in
two different sports.
A 2005 graduate of Marshfield High
School in Marshfield, MA, Maddock was a three sport varsity starter,
earning all Atlantic Coast League honors in soccer as a senior, and
Patriot Ledger All Scholastic in baseball. Prior to MHS, Maddock
attended the American School in London, England where he was a two year
varsity starter in three sports and captained the basketball team as a
sophomore.
A native of Marshfield, MA, Maddock earned a Masters
of Education in Sports Administration from Endicott College in May 2011
and is also the Sports Information Director at Fisher College.
Sabra Wrice - Head Basketball Coach (2nd season)
This
will be Coach Wrice's first season at the helm for the Fisher College
Women's Basketball program. She is beginning the transition into
coaching after finishing an excellent basketball career. A native of
Riverside, New Jersey, Coach Wrice led her high school team to the South
Jersey Championship in 2004. After scoring 2,000 points in high school,
Wrice took her talents to Fairfield, CT to play for Fairfield
University.
She played all four years at Fairfield receiving First Team All-MAAC
honors twice, Second Team All-MAAC (Sophomore year) and All-MAAC Rookie
Team (Freshman Year). Wrice finished her collegiate career with 119
games played, 1,577 points scored, 221 assists and 220 steals. The 220
steals were good for fourth all time in Fairfield University history.
Team Northumbria of the England Basketball League took notice and
signed Wrice to a professional contract on September 17, 2008. She was
the team's first signing for the 2008-2009 season. The following season,
Wrice joined the Nottingham Wildcats where she finished out her
professional career.
Coach Wrice graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor's degree in Film.She now resides in Boston, MA.
