Senior goaltender Mark Dorso (Waterbury, CT / Kennedy HS) stopped 17 of the 23 shots he saw as Vermont Tech upended the Men, 6-0. The game was closer than the score shows as Dorso limited the Green Knight attack to just one goal at the end of 45 minutes.

In the second half, VTC was able to captalize on some mistakes made by the Falcon defense as they scored five unanswered goals to seal the victory.

"Mark (Dorso) did an outstanding job for us tonight." said Fisher College Head Coach Anthony Perry. "It just goes to show the athleticism that he has, being only his second game in net. Without him, the score could have been a lot worse."
With the loss, Fisher drops to 0-3-0/0-3-0 while Vermont Tech improves to 2-2-0/2-2-0. Fisher will travel to the University of Maine at Machias for an 11 am kickoff on Saturday, September 25.

The defensive quartet, led by junior co-captain Katherine Ernest (Blackstone, MA / Blackstone-Millville HS) kept the Vermont Tech offense quiet in the first half as they cleared the zone real well.
"The Women played an amazing game." said Fisher College Head Coach Anthony Perry. "With this being their first time on the field in game action, they played hard, aggressive and never gave up. I am extremely proud of each and everyone of them."
