Sunrise Conference Champions


Fisher College Men's Basketball team has won the Sunrise Conference Tournament and will be heading to Point Lookout, Missouri to compete in the 32 team National Tournament. The tournament will be held at the College of the Ozarks from March 11-17. For more information, please visit www.naia.org

January 13, 2009: Sophomore Louis Williams named Sunrise Conference Co-Player of the Week along with teammate sophomore Casey Pursell.

January 26, 2009: Sophomore Louis Williams named Sunrise Conference Player of the Week

February 1, 2009: Senior Brandon Hamilton recorded his 1,000th career point at home versus University of Maine at Fort Kent

February 14, 2009: Senior Brandon Hamilton records a triple-double at home versus Paul Smiths College (11 points / 14 rebounds / 11 assists)

February 16, 2009: Senior Brandon Hamilton named Sunrise Conference Player of the Week

February 25, 2009: Senior Brandon Hamilton named Sunrise Conference Player of Week

February 27, 2009: Senior Brandon Hamilton and sophomore Louis Williams named to the Sunrise Conference 1st team All Conference members.

This is the 1st 20+ win season in school history. Fisher also eclipsed the 100 point mark 7 times this season.
