2011 Season Schedule announced for Fisher College Men’s Soccer

Boston, MA - The Fisher College Men’s soccer program 2011 schedule has been announced by Head Coach Bill Maddock.  With First year Head Coach Bill Maddock at the helm, the Falcons look to surprise in the American Mid-East Conference.  The Falcons will be joining the American Mid-East Conference after competing in the former Sunrise Conference. 

“The 2011 season will allow me to set the building blocks for the soccer program here at Fisher,” said new Head Coach Bill Maddock, “ I am looking forward to developing this young program into one of the most competitive teams in the Northeast.”  The Falcons finished the 2010 season 0-12 with a conference record or 0-11.

The Falcons begin the regular season September 16^th when AMC opponent Roberts Wesleyan College comes to Boston.  After a two game set with the Raiders, the Fisher Falcons will have five straight road contests against AMC rivals Walsh University, Point Park University and non-conference opponents Briarcliff College and Newbury College.

The Falcons will finish their American Mid-East Conference schedule as well as their regular season schedule with a trip to upstate New York where they will play Houghton College on October 28^th and Daemen College on October 29^th.

Fisher College unveils 2011 Season for Women’s Soccer

Boston, MA – New Head Coach Bill Maddock has announced the 2011 schedule for the Women’s soccer program.  The Falcons will compete in the American Mid-East Conference for the first time this season after previously competing in the Sunrise Conference.   Led by returning four year starter Katie Ernest (Blackstone, MA) and a strong incoming class the Fisher Falcons play seven of the first eight games against American Mid-East opponents. 

The Fisher Falcons open the season at home against AMC foe Daemen College of September 10^th before traveling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a two game set with Carlow University, September 12^th and 13^th.

The Falcons finished the 2010 season with a 0-11 record.   Under the direction of new Head Coach Bill Maddock, Fisher looks to continue the development of the Women’s soccer program.  “I am excited to see where this program can go,” said Coach Maddock, “the new conference will open up new opportunities and hopefully we will see a quick turnaround in the success of the program.” 

After returning from the trip to Pittsburgh, PA the Fisher Falcons will play non-conference opponent University of Maine – Augusta on September 21^st  before four straight conference games against Walsh University, September 23^rd, Point Park University, September 24^th and 25^th, and Houghton College on October 1^st.  

After playing five of their first seven contests on the road, the Fisher Falcons will have six of their next seven games at home.  The Falcons will finish their American Mid-East Conference schedule as well as their regular season schedule with a trip to upstate New York where they will play Houghton College on October 28^th and Daemen College on October 29^th.
