The Santiago, Dominican Republic native, Nunez was dominate in helping the Falcons to a 2-1 week. Nunez hit .400 as the primary designated hitter and also drove in seven runs. He collected six RBI's in a 17-1 win over Siena Heights University, including a grand slam. In the second win, Nunez went 1-for-4 with 2 RBI's as Fisher completed the double-header sweep, this time by a final of 10-2. This is the first time that Nunez has received the award.
Luciano, the Sunrise Conference Pitcher of the Week, is now 3-1 on the season
Luciano made one start last week and pitched 5.0 innings of four hit ball as he only allowed Siena Heights to score once in the 17-1 win. A native of Union City, New Jersey, Luciano has won three straight starts. This is Luciano's first time receiving the Pitcher of the Week Award.
